What is Lypossage?
Lypossage is a specific type of manual therapy that flushes and drains cellulite from the areas just below the skin. Lypossage contours and shapes areas of the body, targeting the inches around the abdomen, waist, hips, thighs, buttocks and arms without the use of surgical tools or unnecessary anesthesia. Lypossage also works on the face, neck, and chin reducing the appearance of fine lines, deep lines, and crows feet acting as a natural face lift.
The key elements in the Lypossage™ treatment are lymphatic drainage, Myofascial release with deep tissue massage.

How does it work?
Lypossage cleanses the body of stagnant, stalled lymphatic fluid (lymphoedema) that can create the lumps and bulge. The deeper Lypossage strokes break up adhesions under the skin that can contribute to the dimpled, uneven appearance of cellulite. Lypossage stimulates production of elastin and collagen, also tones the muscles, lifting and firming sagging tissue.
Where does this technique come from?
The treatment is a specific blend of massage modalities that derive from physical therapy, including deep lymphatic drainage and deep tissue release. It was created by Charles W Wiltsie III, LMT, an internationally recognized massage therapy educator and practitioner. Charles Wiltsie did a research in 1999 with 100 women. He showed a 6+ average inch loss in the thighs, buttocks and abdomen from this procedure. Mr Wiltsie conducted a yearlong study of 100 female subjects that documented the effectiveness of the technique, which was published in a Massage and Bodywork Magazine in 1999.
